A masochistic cop (Maura Tierney), who hides her predilection from her cop husband (Terry Kinney), gets involved in pursuing a kidnapper nicknamed Harry for Harry Houdini (Adrien Brody), who has kidnapped a in the chips woman (Laila Robins) and has buried her somewhere in Manhattan while exacting a ransom from her tycoon husband (James Naughton). Failure to pay the release within 24 hours will lead the kidnapper to abandoning the lady. Dylan Baker also appears as the fed that is assigned to the case. |

There are various versions of the film, ranging from the heavily- truncated 90-instant version to the legendary 160-minute hardcore version which leaves nothing to the imagination (still the hardcore scenes were inserted later and do not involve the main mould members). |

The piece of a relationship between a teacher and his troubled pupil. Justin McLeod is a former instructor who lives as a recluse on the edge of town. His face is disfigured from an automobile luck and fire ten years before in which a boy was incinerated and for which he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. He is also suspected of being a pedophile. He is befriended by Chuck, causing the township’s suspicion and hostility to be ignited. McLeod inculcates in his protege a love of justice and freedom from discrimination which sustains him beyond the end of the film. |
