As the designation would suggest, it follows the travels of the legendary sword Excalibur via Arthurian myth, from the violent, powerful hands of Uther Pendragon, to a covet-years’ rest in the stone to being redrawn by Uther’s son Arthur, who uses it to thrash the evil invaders and establish the great court of Camelot and the great Knights of the Exact Table. It is there in Arthur’s glory years and in his decline, brought on by the fervour affair between his wife Guenevere and best friend and best knight Sir Lancelot, the Holy Grail Chase which produces many casualties among the knights, and the arrival of Mordred, the son Arthur had by his vile half-sister, the sorceress Morgana. Through it all, the magician Merlin watches all everything, always ready to throw in a Charm of Making when it’s called for.

Five friends go up to a cottage in the woods where they find unspeakable evil lurking in the forest. They find the Necronomicon and the taped metaphrase of the text. Once the tape is played, the evil is released. One by one, the teens turn deadly zombies. With only one remaining, it is up to him to survive the night and struggle the evil dead.

Max is restless in a post apocalypse Australia where Gasoline is the most valuable commodity. He becomes involved in a strain between bandits and a town that has build defenses around a peewee refinery. He must cross the no man’s land several times to allow them to press a dash for freedom, pursued by the bandits in their vehicles.
